Gilcomston Church is an independent evangelical church at the ‘top’ end of Union Street. It is the only church now which fronts onto Union Street. It was built in 1860s and is made of grey granite and sandstone. Another chance to explore a building that’s been a landmark on Union Street for over 150 years: from the massive ‘wheel-window’ and impressive pipe organ to the comfortable seating and the presentation screens.
On Sunday the building will be open 10am- 12:30pm and then 6pm-8pm.
