Hallgreen Castle, Inverbervie

Situated in the Burgh of Inverbervie overlooking the Bay is Hallgreen Castle. Doors Open Days 2023 will offer the unique opportunity for visitors to catch a glimpse within the walls of this modified 14th century castle currently occupied as a private residence. Visitors will be able to dress up in a wide range of period costumes and immerse themselves into 14th century castle life, including battle re-enactments and archery, calligraphy demo/workshop and The Knights of Monymusk display to name but a few!

In addition, visitors will also be able to experience the NEOS art exhibition.

The castle is not suitable for wheelchair access due to stairs on all levels. Minimal parking is available at the venue and visitors are requested to park at the beach carpark and enjoy the short walk up to the castle.
