Dunoon Burgh Hall is a historic building situated in Dunoon, Argyll and Bute, Scotland.The building’s architect was Robert Alexander Bryden and dates back to 1873 when its foundation stone was laid.Originally the home of town officials, Dunoon Burgh Hall is an inspiring story of a small Scottish community coming together to preserve its rich cultural heritage. This handsome Victorian building was rescued by the community, who worked with the John McAslan Family Trust to purchase it for a token £1.

Today it now serves the local community and wider area of Cowal as a fully accessible creative and cultural hub following a major refurbishment in 2017 but the building retains some of its original features and charms such as the main hall balcony and a number of grotesques can be spotted on the exterior.

For Doors Open Days local amateur theatre group Dunoon Players will be performing their monologues about Dunoon Burgh Hall’s history, together with music from the local pipe band, celebrating their 100^th year.
