Eglinton's East Walk - Eglinton Country Park

Eglinton Country Park sits within the grounds of the old Eglinton Estate, historical home of the Montgomerie family. It opened, with Country Park status, in 1986, and has a fascinating history, both natural and cultural, within its grounds.
Walk 2: Eglinton’s East- Time for a Ranger-led afternoon wander around some of Eglinton Country Park’s Eastern paths and landmarks! Find out about the local history, both natural and cultural (and a little prehistory too!). This walk is about 3 miles (5km) with a couple of moderately steep slopes and rough pathways. This walk will begin at 13:00 and end at around 15:00.
