Church of the Good Shepherd
Edinburgh
In Person

The church was built in the early years of the twentieth century and was one of Sir Robert Lorimer’s first major commissions as a young architect. It has classic Lorimer touches which have been preserved over the 100 years of use and combined tastefully with more modern stained-glass windows and furnishings. It is a delightful example of a Scottish country church surrounded by well-kept gardens and yet within the city. It engenders a sense of quietness within which to contemplate the Creator and the Creation.
Self-guided through displays and notes of interest.
