Granton Castle Walled Garden
Edinburgh
In Person

The Walled Garden was once attached to Granton Castle, which was built in the late 15th century, rebuilt in 1544, refurbished in the 17th century, and finally demolished in 1921. The Walled Garden survived and was cultivated across the centuries. Children (and their family and friends) will have the opportunity to draw the ‘lost castle’ and its doocot (pigeon house) in the historic setting of the walled garden. Drawing materials provided.
