Step into a beautiful place of worship in the heart of Elgin. A place of peace with fine stained glass inside, plaques and memorials, even a small fragment of an altar piece taken from a French church destroyed in the First World War. Outside, enjoy the garden, and locate the carvings and gargoyles to the east end of the building. Find a warm welcome from members who still worship here, and go deeper into the history and roots of the Episcopal Church in Elgin which survived the penal laws imposed after the Jacobite risings of the 18th century.
