Sight Scotland Veterans Hawkhead Activity Hub, Paisley

The venue is of importance to the local history as it is in the setting of the old Dobbies Centre at Hawkhead , the building  has won an award for its architecture as it is designed in the shape of a Hawk.

For the Doors Open Days weekend we are having light refreshments, military police car, children's face painting, making fruit and veg kebabs with the children in our kitchen, along with soft archery and axe throwing. Activity books and tours of the centre and its grounds.

A senior member of staff will take small groups around to see the activities we facilitate for veterans with a visual impairment and let them try some simulation glasses to see what it is like.
